By appointing Nidhi Chappell as President of AI Infrastructure, Nscale strengthens its global data center operations with deep industry expertise.
London, UK, 4th December 2025 - Nscale is thrilled to welcome Nidhi Chappell to the team as the new global President of AI Infrastructure. Nidhi brings decades of experience building and operating data center platforms for some of the world's largest technology companies. As Nscale accelerates the build-out of its global data center footprint, expanding our leadership team with world-class talent is essential to meeting the needs of our customers and partners.
Based in Seattle, Nidhi will report into Nscale’s CEO Joshua Payne overseeing Nscale’s AI infrastructure engineering and global operations across Europe, the United States, and beyond.
Nidhi most recently served as Corporate Vice President for Azure AI and High-Performance Computing Infrastructure at Microsoft, where she led the design and operation of four generations of supercomputers powering ChatGPT. Prior to Microsoft, she spent eight years at Intel in leadership roles spanning data center architecture and engineering.
This appointment comes following major milestones for Nscale, including an expanded deal with Microsoft to deploy approximately 200,000 NVIDIA GB300 GPUs across Europe and the largest Series B in European history at $1.1 billion.
Nidhi’s expertise will allow Nscale to deliver an all-in-one AI platform – from ground to cloud.
