Lauren joins from Palantir Technologies following record setting Series B as Nscale deploys multi-gigawatt AI data centers globally
Nscale today announces the appointment of Lauren Hurwitz as Chief Operating Officer. Hurwitz joins from Palantir Technologies, where she spent nearly a decade scaling mission-critical operations across international government and enterprise sectors, most recently as Head of International Public Sector.
The appointment comes as Nscale scales through a critical inflection point: in the past 2 years, the company has gone from stealth-mode to having a large data center pipeline across the globe, with more projects on the horizon. Within just the last few months Nscale closed the largest Series B in European history ($1.1 billion), and secured partnerships to deploy approximately 200k NVIDIA GB300 GPUs with Microsoft.
Based in the UK at Nscale’s headquarters, Hurwitz will build the operating systems, processes, and cross-functional coordination required to maintain execution velocity and operational agility through this transition from high-growth startup to global AI hyperscaler.
At Palantir, Hurwitz built operational frameworks that scaled across sovereign boundaries while maintaining execution quality in high-stakes government and enterprise environments across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. She led international operations through rapid expansion by building processes from first principles — the same approach that has enabled Nscale’s vertically integrated model and modular data center design to achieve differentiated deployment speed.

Hurwitz’s appointment completes a series of senior leadership additions over recent months, including Alice Takhtajan as CFO, Nidhi Chappell as President of AI Infrastructure, Stuart Pann as Senior Advisor, and Osvaldo Morales as Deputy President of Data Centers. This executive team brings the operational depth and functional expertise required to execute on Nscale’s global deployment roadmap of hundreds of thousands of GPUs across sovereign and commercial AI infrastructure.
